PonchoMeg's Guide to Everything Michigan
Welcome!
You've arrived at PonchoMeg's Guide to Everything Michigan. I am PonchoMeg: The Modern Bohemian (aka: Meagan). I live in Michigan and have my whole life. I was born in Lansing, and I have lived in Eaton Rapids, Grand Rapids, Portage, and East Lansing. Now I am back in the capital city itself: Lansing and living a bit of a hippie/bohemian/free-spirit lifestyle while I write my blog, work on my book, arts and crafts, and music, and try to figure out where I am going in life.
BlogCatalog

I love my home state, and have always enjoyed living here, even during tough economic times. I also have always enjoyed "being a tourist in my own state." I have visited many places in Michigan and had so many great experiences around the state. So because of my love of Michigan, I decided to create this blog, for residents and non-residents alike. It will be a great resource for anyone living in Michigan, moving to Michigan, or planning a trip to or around Michigan. (And for any student doing a report on Michigan!)
Please feel free to leave comments, visit my main blog: PonchoMeg: The Modern Bohemian, and/or become a follower.
And enjoy!
Peace and Love,
Meagan

Gluten Free in Michigan
Michigan residents and Michigan visitors alike can be affected by gluten intolerances, gluten allergies, celiac disease, thyroid problems, weight issues, or dermatitis herpetiformus that requires them to be on the gluten-free diet and live a gluten-free lifestyle. (And some people simply choose to be on it.) No matter the reason, if you are a Michigan resident or visitor who is on the gluten-free diet and living the gluten-free lifestyle, I have some great resources for you.

I hope this helps!

The Purpose of PonchoMeg's Guide to Everything Michigan
Michigan is a wonderful state to visit and a great state to live in; and it happens to be the state I live in. I love Michigan, and I want to do anything I can to help Michigan. Whether it's getting people to be tourists in their own state or to buy local goods or whether it's bringing in jobs and tourists from other places to Michigan; I want to make a difference, and spread the "Michigan Love."
This blog will be a resource for anyone interested in Michigan (residents and non-residents alike). There will be information on tourism and travel, arts and entertainment, housing, business, fashion, shopping, education, classes and activities, etc.
So keep checking back for updates, because soon, everything you need to know about Michigan really will be right here at your fingertips.
Peace and Love,
Meagan
